This Summer has been a busy one and it seems like it’s getting shorter every year. We had lots of fun swimming, visiting with cousins, playing baseball, and playing with friends, as well as making a few cookies and cakes in the 10 short weeks of Summer vacation. How did you spend your Summer? I hope you enjoyed lots of fun and sun 🙂 and made a few sweet memories.
In July my best friend asked if I could make Blaze and the Monster machine cookies & I helped her make a Blaze cake for her son’s 3rd birthday. He was very happy with his “Bwaze” cookie :). Since my best friends birthday is also close to their sons birthday, her husband asked if I could make a Harry Potter cake to surprise her with. He gave me free reign & she was thrilled with the surprise!
Our daughter played on a coach pitch team with year (Go Yankees!) and our son was on a t-ball team (Go White Sox!) but ended up practicing and playing on his sisters team as her team ended up with only 4 players. He asked me to make cookies for his end of season team party & picked out these 
bats, glove, and baseballs.
Wrapped up the summer with a flowered “thank you” cake, and cookies for a brothers get together, 
and surprised my favorite kiddos with some back-to-school cookies, a megaphone for my daughters first cheer practice, and a shark for my son just because :).
