It’s that time of year already; our kids are going back to school. I hope everyone had a great Summer. We enjoyed a lot of pool time this summer & playing with friends. My son couldn’t wait to go back to school & see his friends, especially his best friend. He really got into playing Roblox over the summer & loved to video chat with his best friend & play together :). He started 2nd grade this year & moved up to the “big school” with his sister & a bigger playground with a zipline ;). He was so excited. My daughter started 4th grade & got her own locker & decorated it this year. She is “too cool” to have Mom walk her to class now & is really enjoying 4th grade, especially Fridays when they’re allowed to bring a special drink. Of course, I had to make cookies to kick off this year, as surprise desserts in their lunchboxes for their first day of school :).
I thought they turned out really cute & my kids love their cookie surprises when they opened their lunchboxes ;). I will definitely be adding more back to school designs for next year!
This Summer has been my busiest time yet & it’s been filled with fun, new designs; several 1st birthdays, baby showers, graduations (high school & Kindergarten), & birthdays filled my calendar, adding so many new designs to my portfolio :). Every one was a new design & I just loved creating them all; High School Graduation, College Bound AL set, Toy Story, Star Wars, Mario, Paw Patrol, Boy Scouts, Donut, Nurse, Dr, Bus Driver, & Teacher Appreciation (a bit of Covid style), Father’s Day (my fave was the Poop emoji one ;), couple beach trip set (cuz beach trips require cookies :)), Butterflies & Roses sets, Shark themed cake & cupcakes, “Old Man” theme (that was so much fun to come up with!), Harry Potter, Guns & Ammo, Golf 80th Birthday cookie set, Jurassic World, Cookie Cake, and a couple personal cakes (1 was caramel, maple, heath & the other was a red velvet “Cheers to 40 Years” with an edible chocolate champagne bottle). I have been approached by a couple people on the possibility of expanding my business a couple different ways so there may be some exciting news in the next few months regarding that :)!
