A dump truck cake made for my sons Construction Themed 2nd Birthday. He loves playing with trucks & when I found a You Tube instruction video of the coolest looking dump truck I had seen, with a PDF template to make it, that was definately the theme I wanted. And so I set about coming up with construction themed decorations. Printable signs were found on Etsy, caution cone drinking cups for the kids, and a cone snack display that I filled with check mix, ordered from Oriental Trading Company, and Family Dollar had the mini buckets I used for mayo and mustard. Such a fun party & my son absolutely loved his dump truck cake!

I did add a Rice Krispy Treat #2 covered in icing, and oreo cookie crumbs with a candle in it 
, and chocolate rocks purchased from Amazon, were put in the back of the dump truck (though I would suggest making the bed of the truck from Gum Paste as the fondant started breaking under the weight of the rocks. Not sure if the refrigeration of the cake, as in the instructional video, had anything to do with the weakening or not).
