Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Filling Recipe

3/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

3/4 cup sugar

3 Tablespoons milk

1 & 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 & 1/2 cup flour

1 & 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (I used a 10oz bag of Ghirardelli mini chocolate chips)

In a mixer, cream together butter and sugars, until smooth. Mix in the milk and vanilla, until smooth. Mix in the flour, until just well combined, then stir in the chocolate chips.

Note: When using between cake layers, generously butter knife for less sticking when spreading on the filling, or use butter hands to spread out. Smooth any filling coming out of the sides of the cake, with a hot water heated knife/spreader, to get smooth before crumb coating cake.
